1. Installation environment
Installation environment: Butterfly valves can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, in cases involving corrosive media and those prone to rust, specific material combinations should be employed. For special conditions, please consult Zhongzhi Valves.
Installation site: Installed in a location that allows for safe operation, easy maintenance, inspection, and repair.
Before installation, please remove all impurities and scale in the pipeline. During installation, please ensure that the medium flow direction is consistent with the arrow direction indicated on the valve body.
Daily inspection: Check for leaks, abnormal noises, vibrations, etc.
Regular inspection: Regular checks should be conducted to ensure that valves and other system components are free from leakage, rust, and obstructions, and they should be maintained, cleaned, dusted, and decontaminated.
Disassembly inspection: Valves should undergo a disassembly maintenance once every certain period. During the disassembly process, the parts should be re-rinsed, foreign objects, stains and rust spots should be removed, damaged or severely worn gaskets and packing should be replaced, and the sealing surfaces should be corrected. After the maintenance, the valve needs to undergo a water pressure test again. It can be reused only if the test is qualified.

Environmental conditions: Temperature -20℃ to +70℃, humidity below 90% RH. Before installation, first check according to the nameplate markings on the valve to ensure it meets the usage requirements for the working conditions. Note: The butterfly valve does not have the ability to withstand high pressure differences. Do not allow the butterfly valve to be opened or continuously flowing under high pressure differences.

Align the center of the pipes at the front and rear, ensure that the flange interfaces are parallel, evenly tighten the screws, and be careful not to cause excessive pipe stress on the cylinder control valve due to the pneumatic butterfly valve.
