The sudden COVID-19 has brought great challenges to our economy and life. Under the strong scientific organization of the country, the epidemic prevention and control has made remarkable achievements. All walks of life have overcome difficulties and returned to work. The backbone enterprises in the valve industry have basically returned to work and production, striving to minimize the losses caused by the epidemic. In order to showcase industry achievements, the originally planned 10th China (Shanghai) International Fluid Machinery Exhibition (IFME) and Valve Expo will be held as scheduled from June 16 to 18, 2020 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. As of January 2020, more than 100 excellent domestic and foreign valves have signed up for exhibition, including Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd., CNNC Suzhou Valve Technology Industry Co., Ltd., Chengfeng Valve Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shentong Valve Co., Ltd., Shanghai Valve Factory Co., Ltd., Beijing Valve Factory Co., Ltd., Jiangnan Valve Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Dun'an Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd Chaoda Valve Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Electric Valve Co., Ltd., Harbin Electric Power Station Valve Co., Ltd., Wuzhong Instrument Co., Ltd., Suzhou Newway Valve Co., Ltd., Sichuan Feiqiu (Group) Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Suyan Valve Machinery Co., Ltd., Xuanda Industrial Group Co., Ltd., Wuzhou Valve Co., Ltd., Lanzhou High Voltage Valve Co., Ltd Key enterprises such as Shenjiang Valve Co., Ltd. have already signed exhibition contracts.

      Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, although most enterprises have delayed their resumption of work, they actively resume production while focusing on epidemic prevention and control after their resumption of work. Except for a few severely affected enterprises, most of them have gradually resumed production and arranged dedicated personnel to actively prepare for the Shanghai Fluid Expo and Valve Expo. Many enterprises have actively inquired about the exhibition organization and preparation status since the resumption of work, signed booth contracts, paid booth fees, designed booth drawings, and other work to prepare for the smooth development of the exhibition.

      It is understood that many exhibitions were cancelled or rescheduled at the beginning of the year. The exhibition organized by our association will open in mid June, which should meet the conditions. It is the golden period for promoting the industry after the disappearance of the epidemic. Currently, the association is making every effort to actively prepare and promote the orderly progress of all exhibition work. The Valve Branch aims to provide a better display platform for participating enterprises, and plans on-site new product and technology promotion activities based on different enterprise products. At present, there are still a small number of standard booths in the Valve Exhibition Hall. Interested companies can contact the Secretariat to negotiate participation.
