High-temperature and high-pressure valves are automatic pressure relief protection devices that are activated by the incoming static pressure. The high-temperature valve is one of the most important safety accessories for pressure vessels. The function of the high-temperature valve is that when the pressure inside the container exceeds a certain limit, the high-temperature valve will automatically open by relying on the pressure of the medium itself. The high-temperature valve will quickly discharge a certain amount of medium. When the pressure inside the container drops to the allowable value, the high-temperature safety valve will automatically close. The high-temperature safety valve keeps the pressure inside the container always below the upper limit of the allowable pressure. The high-temperature valve automatically prevents possible accidents caused by overpressure. The high-temperature valve is also known as the final protection device for pressure vessels.
Structural features of high-temperature and high-pressure ball valves:
When the abnormal pressure in the valve chamber exceeds the pre-tightening force of the spring, the valve seat retreats and separates from the ball, achieving the effect of automatic pressure relief. After the pressure is relieved, the valve seat automatically returns to its original position.
2. In the event of a fire or if the valve seat sealing ring is damaged or softened due to abnormal temperature rise, under the action of the spring and the medium pressure, the spherical part of the support ring and the ball will form a metal-to-metal contact, achieving a temporary sealing effect, which prevents the fire from further spreading and complies with the provisions of API 6FA.
3. The sealing at the packing cover area adopts a dual sealing system consisting of PTFR packing and O-ring. This design is particularly suitable for gas media. The packing is placed inside the packing disc and can be easily replaced when the friction system becomes too high.
SF type self-lubricating sliding bearing sleeve reduces the operating torque.
Performance Introduction of High-Temperature and High-Pressure Ball Valves:
The high-temperature and high-pressure ball valve divides the valve body into three parts along the section perpendicular to the axis of the valve passage at the two valve seats. The entire valve is symmetrical left and right along the center axis of the valve stem. It is mainly used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the direction of the medium flow. Its large pivot structure ensures the accurate center position of the ball in high pressure, ensuring the good operating performance of the valve; the standard valve seat adopts a spring structure to push the valve seat towards the ball, ensuring good bidirectional sealing performance at the inlet and outlet; using the built-in discharge valve, the internal cavity of the valve body can be discharged outward; the pivot adopts a blowout protection structure, effectively preventing leakage; the low friction coefficient bearing reduces the torque to the minimum, facilitating the opening and closing of the valve; the valve stem has effective contact with the valve body, making the anti-static grounding device superior in performance; etc. It has the advantages of excellent performance, high reliability, wide application range, and reasonable price.
