Technical features of welded ball valves

Addtime:2022-08-02    From:    View:437

Welded ball valves are widely used in various fields. Their superior quality and high-performance stability are beyond the reach of ordinary cast steel ball valves. The service life of fully welded ball valves is much longer than that of cast steel ball valves.

Technical features of the welded ball valve:
1. The valve body is integrally welded, and there will be no external leakage.
2. The valve seat is composed of a PTFE sealing ring and a spring. It has strong adaptability to changes in pressure and temperature, and will not cause any leakage within the usage range.
3. The valve stem has a leak-proof structure. At the bottom of the valve stem, there is a PTFE self-sealing gasket and an O-ring. Above it, there are two O-rings and two PTFE seals, which together ensure no leakage.
4. The valve body material is the same as that of the pipeline, so there will be no uneven stress distribution, nor will it be deformed due to earthquakes or when vehicles pass over it.
5. The valve body is lightweight and easy to insulate.
6. The buried ball valve can be directly buried underground, without the need to build large valve chambers. Only a small shallow well needs to be set up on the ground, which significantly reduces construction costs and project duration.
7. The length of the valve body and the height of the valve stem can be adjusted according to the construction and design requirements of the pipeline.
8. The processing accuracy of the sphere is extremely high. The operation is very convenient and there are no adverse interferences.
10. There are two connection methods: welding and flange connection.
11. Operating method: Handle, gears (vertical/horizontal).
