The differences between the fully welded ball valves Q61F and Q61H

Addtime:2022-07-20    From:    View:445

The fully welded ball valve has one with a soft seal (Q61F) and one with a hard seal (Q61H). F stands for soft seal, which is made of fluoroplastic, while H stands for hard seal, which is made of stainless steel. Soft seals are generally used in pipelines at normal temperature and pressure, while hard seals have a wider range of applications and can also be used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments!

The differences between the fully welded ball valves Q61F and Q61H

The structure of the fully welded ball valve:
The integral welded ball valve is made by pressing carbon steel seamless pipes.
2. The valve stem is made of AISI 303 stainless steel, and the valve body is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. They are processed and ground to ensure excellent sealing performance and corrosion resistance.
3. The sealing is achieved using carbon-reinforced PTFE inclined elastic sealing rings that create negative pressure on the spherical surface, resulting in zero leakage and a long service life.
4. Connection method: Users can choose from options such as welding, threading, and flange. Transmission method: It adopts transmission structures like handle, turbine, pneumatic, and electric, with a flexible and lightweight switch.
5. Compact structure, light weight, good heat retention, easy to install. This valve is generally installed horizontally.
6. Widely applied in long-distance pipeline fields such as natural gas, petroleum, heating, chemical industry and thermal power networks.

The characteristics of the fully welded ball valve:
The valve body is made by welding steel pipes.
2. The ball pad is made of reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene.
3. The valve stem is designed with explosion-proof features.
4. Temperature range: -60 - 200℃.
5. Driving method: Manual or turbine transmission.
6. Testing standard: API 598.
